Terricka Hardy is a subject matter expert in ethics and self-care. She is the owner of Hardy Consulting, LLC where she specializes in providing consulting, coaching, and professional training services to professionals and organizations to cultivate a culture of resilience and self-care. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Social Work Exam Prep Coach, and Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional. A national and international speaker, Mrs. Hardy has trained numerous human service professionals and community groups in ethics, mental health, professional impairment, burnout, self-care, and exam prep. She is a featured contributor of The Routledge Handbook of Social Work Ethics and Values published in 2019. In 2020, Terricka led a subcommittee of social workers to create revisions to the NASW Code of Ethics regarding self-care for social workers. The changes were accepted by the NASW Delegate Assembly and have been added to the NASW Code of Ethics; effective June 2021.
