The Principles of Family Centered Practice: Integrating a Family Centered Approach to Case Work Course will tackle the challenges child welfare professionals often face in day to day case work. This course will discuss practical strategies for integrating family centered practice into child welfare case work.

In this course we will:

  • Describe the principles of family centered practice.
  • List the 4 stages of casework.
  • Identify strategies for implementing family centered practice in child welfare casework.

Upon successful completion, this course provides 2 hours of continuing education.
